Jack Stephens,
attorney confines his legal practice to Estate
Planning. He has authored a book on IRAs and has
contributed to teaching manuals for the Continuing
Education of the Bar (CEB) including Estate Planning
for the Terminally Ill; Drafting California Wills
and Trusts; and California Elder Law. His practice
includes estate and IRA planning; MediCal Planning
for families; Estate and Trust Administration
after the death of a spouse or parent; and Asset
Preservation for families. |

called the Elder Law Advisor, advises clients
on recent federal and state legislation that may
impact their estate plan. It also alerts clients
to changes in the laws that may require an amendment

Every eighteen
months, clients are treated to a seminar in which
hot topics or issues are discussed by Jack or
other guest experts in estate planning, wills
and trusts. The seminar includes client announcements
and contests for prizes. |

is performed and consultations conducted by attorney
Jack Stephens. Unlike many law firms, Jack does
not greet you then hand your file over to an associate
or paralegal. His philosophy is simple in this
regard. He wants to get to know the client personally,
as well as the family, in order to perfect estate
planning objectives. |

(U.S.D.) Law Library. As a former alumni and frequent
researcher, Jack has access to all of the legal

Consultations |
|
For clients who
are terminal or confined to their homes or nursing
facilities, a legal consultation with Jack can
be arranged outside of the office. Frequently,
documents are signed in nursing facilities for
clients who are unable to care for themselves
or who cannot tolerate travel. |

Should a client
need a competent professional such as a CPA, financial
planner, insurance broker, real estate appraiser
or an attorney who specializes in another area
of law, our office can place you in the hands
